What documentations do I need to provide to SLTI?

Have your packing list and proforma booking ready.  For sellers, we’ll need a sales   invoice and for warehouse owners, a delivery receipt is required.

What is the cut-off time for booking?

The cut-off time for booking is 3:00pm for next day pick-up.

What are the accepted payment modes?

We accept pre-payment or cash on delivery (COD).  For those who require charge to account, you need to fill-up a credit application form which will be subject for approval.

How does SLTI ensure the safety and security of my cargoes?

Your cargoes are insured to ensure safety and security.  We have an open policy for cargo insurance.

We have a maximum allowable value of Php500,000 for 20-footer container and Php1M for 40-footer container where insurance is not charged.  However, cargoes in excess of the aforementioned maximum allowable value will be charged a valuation of 1%.

Are there restrictions on the items that can be transported?

Yes.  The following items are not allowed to be transported:

  • Fragile or breakable items
  • Dangerous goods – a Material Safety Data Handling sheet is needed to transport dangerous goods subject to the approval of the shipping line.
  • Illegal substances
  • Cargoes going to Tawi-Tawi or Sulu

SLTI is responsible for loading all the goods in the container for quality assurance and safety

What is the maximum weight allowable for 20-footer and 40-footer vans?

18 tonnes for 20-footer vans and 27 tonnes for 40-footer vans.
